In the golden autumn of October, the sweet osmanthus fragrant, along the Linghu Lake in Linhai City, colorful flags flutter and drums rang. On the morning of October 28th, the 4-day 8th China (Linhai) Outdoor Furniture and Garden Leisure Products Exhibition was grandly opened in Linhai City.

Linhai is a well-known leisure products production base at home and abroad. After nearly 30 years of development, there are more than 1,000 outdoor leisure products and supporting enterprises in the city, of which more than 160 are large-scale. Last year, the industry output value was more than 21 billion yuan. It is exported to 134 countries and regions including the United States and Germany. Since 2012, Linhai has organized leisure goods exhibitions with booths as a window, attracting domestic and foreign manufacturers from the United States, Germany, Australia and other countries to visit the exhibition, greatly improving the visibility and reputation of Linhai.

This year’s exhibits are divided into eight series of products including outdoor furniture, awnings, sun umbrellas, courtyard leisure, courtyard decoration, gardening supplies, household goods and wooden houses. Companies from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Shandong, Fujian, Guangdong, Zhejiang and other places actively sign up for it. After screening, 186 manufacturers participated in the event. Leading companies such as Zhejiang Yongqiang Group and Linya Co., Ltd., local Linhai enterprises, and growing enterprises such as Zhejiang Qinda Tourism Products and Linjie Crafts Co., Ltd. participated in the exhibition. This year's exhibition area reached more than 50,000. Square meters, its scale and participating manufacturers and the number of participants are all over previous years.

At the opening ceremony, Linhai Municipal Party Committee Secretary Mei Shimiao, Taizhou Deputy Mayor Jiang Bingfeng, Deputy Commissioner Zhou Guanchao of the Hangzhou Office of the Ministry of Commerce, and Han Jie, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Commerce delivered speeches respectively. Zhang Jie, vice chairman of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Light Industry Crafts, announced the opening. Fang Liqun, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Commerce, Zhang Qingshan, vice chairman of the Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and other leaders attended the meeting, hosted by the Mayor of Linhai City, Wang Dan.
